Your skin is the largest organ of your body so it makes sense for you to be well mentally, spiritually, emotionally and physically in order to look your best.
1. Start with not smoking because this thins the skin and deprives it of important nutrients.
2. Get enough sleep―sleep is like a bank account: if you make withdrawals you will never be able to make it up.
3. Have a healthy diet that includes adequate protein, lots of fruit and vegetables, and avoid sugar and starch which makes you fat anyway!
4. Do some sort of relaxation technique regularly―yoga, massage, meditation, etc. These techniques stimulate the relaxation response which is anti inflammatory, anti stress and healing.
5. Manage your stress. Do all of the above but also ‘think about the way you think’―is the glass half empty or half full?
6. Your supplements should include omega 3 fish oil and a good multivitamin.
7. Avoid chemicals and radiation in your environment. Take a look at the quantity of electrical equipment around you and get rid of as many as possible.
