Lindsey has authored six books, including two novels. Her latest is Wise Up! How to be Fearless and Fulfilled in Midlife. It’s full of true-life stories, frankly shared, about the juicy and testing times that come along between 40 and 60. (And now she’s in her 60s she’s learning first-hand about a lot of new dramas!)

Lindsey did a series of talks last year on beating the ‘midlife blahs’ on TV1’s Good Morning show. She also runs a course called Write From the Heart, which helps people boost their confidence, their imagination and the skills with the written word.

Her next book project, in shops soon, is a beautiful little gift book called The Answer: How Nature Can Help You When Life Seems Too Hard.

In 20-something years as a magazine editor, she created three major national titles – More, Next and Grace – and is now editing a lifestyle quarterly called Plenty for investors with the Hanover Group. She’s long been married –  “so long that one of our first cars was an orange, 1960s Beetle”. She now drives a slightly more modern VW Golf. She and her husband have two grown daughters and one very small grand-daughter.
